Singapore, Feb 9 (DPA) An Indian national was banned from driving and fined for causing the death of a Singapore Armed Forces lieutenant in May, a newspaper said Friday.
Sait Mohamed Ibramsha, 34, a scaffolding and safety supervisor, failed to give way to Kowi Chia Ee, 26, who had the right of way, the court heard.
The officer's vehicle collided with Ibramsha's lorry and he died at the scene from multiple injuries, The Straits Times reported.
The lorry driver was fined 6,000 Singapore dollars ($3,921)
