Berlin, Feb 26, (IRNA) European Union defense ministers will hold informal talks in the southwestern German city of Wiesbaden on Thursday, German defense ministry spokesman, Thomas Raabe told the press on Monday.
NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is also expected to attend three-day meeting of European military leaders, Raabe added.
Three working groups will deal with a host of issues like the gradual withdrawal of European forces from the western Balkan region and Bosnia, stepping up cooperation with Afghan police, assessing UN and EU military cooperation in places like the Congo and beefing up EU military forces.
