Beijing, March 30, (IRNA) Iranian Ambassador to Beijing Javad Mansouri said that the propaganda of Western media on detention of 15 British sailors who violated Iran's territorial waters aims to cover up the repeated wrong-doings of British troops.
The statement was part of an interview with the Chinese daily, Beijing Youth.
Quoting the Iranian diplomat, it added that there are sufficient documents and reasons to prove the illegal entry of British servicemen into Iran's waterways in Persian Gulf.
He called on Western media to avoid creating hues and cries over the issue.
Upon illegal entry into Iranian territorial waters on March 23, fifteen British sailors were arrested by Iranian coast guards.
