Gaza, Sep 14 (DPA) The Hamas-led Palestinian cabinet has resigned ahead of the expected formation of a new national unity government with the Fatah party of President Mahmoud Abbas.
All the ministers have sent their resignations to Prime Minister Ismail Haniya, Hamas cabinet spokesperson Ghazi Hamad said in a statement Wednesday, describing the move as "their contribution to pave the road to forming a national coalition government soon."
