Taking a serious view of the publication of the picture of Holy Prophet (PBUH) of Islam in a book being taught at a school in Mahoba of Uttar Pradesh state, the district administration ordered its seizure and sealed the premises of its publishers.

The class 5 book under the title 'Hum Bhi Bane Mahan' being taught in Vivekananda School contained the picture of Holy Prophet (PBUH), which is against the tenets of Islam, PTI report said here quoting state home secretary.

The district administration, upon being informed of the objections by the Muslim community, yesterday seized the book and sealed the premises of the publisher, he said.
