Pak explosion kills four civilians
Hub, August 30 (NDTV.COM) Violence continues in Pakistan in the wake of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti's killing.
A bomb exploded in a crowded roadside restaurant in Balochistan on Tuesday evening, killing four civilians and wounding 10.
The explosion occurred in the Balochistan town of Hub.
An eyewitness at the scene said, "We heard the sound of the horrible blast we rushed here.
"Dead bodies and injured people were lying on the ground, and some people were running away in fear."
It was unclear who carried out the attack or what their motive was. The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital in Karachi.
The explosion follows four days of unrest after Baloch tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed on Saturday in a Pakistani army raid.
There's a three-day strike across Balochistan from today. All major highways leading from Balochistan to Sindh and Punjab have been blocked by Bugti supporters and the four party alliance in Balcohistan.
All flights out of Quetta have been delayed.
Tour of cave
Meanwhile, the Pakistan army has given news agency AP a tour of the cave in Pakistan where the Baloch leader was killed.
The cave in Kohlu, about 220 km east of Quetta was attacked in a massive military operation on Saturday and was reduced to rubble.
Authorities have claimed that they still haven't located Bugti's body in the rubble, though his followers claim otherwise.
"The guide went in and came out, then officers rushed in. Then a loud explosion like sound was heard more troops went in and found that the cave had collapsed and whoever was in it had been buried under," said Major Shaukat Sultan, DG, Inter Services PR, Pakistan.
