Muslims condemn Malegaon blasts, blame Pakistan
Ahmedabad, Sep 9 (IANS) Shouting anti-Pakistan slogans, Muslims in Gujarat's principal city protested the Malegaon blasts Saturday.
Members of the community took to the streets in Kalupur area of the city condemning Friday's blasts that killed 38 Muslims and injured over 190.
"We believe that the blasts are a handiwork of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence. First, they exploded bombs in Varanasi and now they are targeting mosques and graveyards," Rauf Bengali, a local leader told IANS.
"The blasts are aimed at creating a rift between Muslims and Hindus," he added.
The demonstrators urged Hindus and Muslims to unite against such terror strikes and take steps to keep the country's secular fabric intact.
