Atlantis blasts off from Cape Canaveral

Washington, Sep 10 (DPA) After several delays, the American space shuttle Atlantis lifted off from Cape Canaveral in Florida on Saturday with six crew members on board.

The shuttle is on its way to the International Space Station (ISS) with parts on a mission expected to last 11 days.
