London, Sep 13 (DPA) Climate change, international relations and human rights were among topics discussed between British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Chinese leader Wen Jiabao in London Wednesday.

Speaking at a joint news conference, Blair said the talks had been "encouraging and open".

He listed the Iran nuclear programme, human rights and bilateral trade relations among the topics discussed.

Wen said the two leaders had agreed to hold regular meetings between their governments.

They had established eight areas of cooperation, which include climate change, energy conservation and environmental protection.
