Explosion kills 43 miners in Kazakhstan

Moscow, Sep 20 (DPA) At least 43 coalminers died Wednesday in an underground blast in Kazakhstan, news reports said.

Methane exploding in Kazakhstan's Karaganda region killed 43 men, said prosecutors who cited negligence in the accident. Another 324 miners were able to reach the surface.
