Jammu, Sep 21 (IANS) At least five people were killed and 28 injured when the bus in which they were travelling fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district Thursday.

The bus was on its way to Rajouri from Budhhal when its driver lost control and fell into a gorge in Rehan, about 160 km north of here.

All five people died on the spot. "We have shifted eight of the critically injured to Jammu," a police official from Rajouri told IANS on phone.

Last month, 26 people were killed in a bus accident Darhal area of the district.
