Hurriyat leader asks India to adopt realistic policy on Kashmir issue
Srinagar, India, Sept 23 (IRNA) The situation in South Asia can taken an "explosive turn at any time" and it is imperative for India to adopt a realistic policy and initiate a serious dialogue to resolve the issue in line with the wishes of the people of Kashmir, said Abbas Ansari here today.
The Kashmiris would not abandon their struggle till an honourable solution to the Kashmir issue is found, said Maulvi Abbas Ansari, former Hurriyat chairman during a Friday prayer congregation.
Claiming that Pakistan has shown flexibility in the Kashmir issue, India is not "serious and sincere" about resolving the dispute.
"India has not yet budged an inch from its stand, which was enough proof that it is not serious and sincere about resolving the Kashmir issue", he said.
