Damascus, April 10 (NNN-SANA) The International Federation of the Arab Trade Unions Monday called on international commissions and world governments to boost and intensify efforts in order to end the occupation of Iraq.

In a statement on the 4th anniversary of occupying Iraq, the Federation's Secretary General urged the Iraqi people to enhance national unity and intensify efforts to restore sovereignty and to build their state and institutions.

The statement called on Arab governments and popular organizations to offer all forms of support to the Iraqi people, easing their suffering and enabling them to end the occupation.
