Iranian company seeks tender to build nuclear power plant

Tehran, April 16 (NNN-Bernama) An Iranian nuclear company on Sunday invited domestic and foreign companies and contractors to design, supply equipment and construct two nuclear power plants in the southern city of Bushehr.

Deputy head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ahmad Fayyaz-Bakhsh made the remark to reporters at a press conference.

"The company producing and developing nuclear energy in Iran offers tenders for the construction of two nuclear power plants with the capacity of 1,000 to 1,600 megawatts in Bushehr," Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Fayyaz-Bakhsh, as saying here.

He said certain European companies have expressed willingness to take part in the tenders.

To a question, he said any company interested in the issue, can participate in the tenders.
