Four labourers killed, 10 wounded in Kashmir accident

Srinagar, April 26 (IANS) Four labourers were killed and 10 injured Thursday when the truck they were travelling in rolled down a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri district.

The accident occurred in the afternoon in the north Kashmir border town of Uri, 102 km from here, when a Border Roads Organisation (BRO) truck transporting labourers rolled down a gorge at Dhoba Challan village.

"The condition of three men is serious," a police spokesman said.

On Wednesday, 30 people were killed and 17 wounded in another road accident in Poonch district of Jammu region.
