New York, Feb 23 (IANS) A man from New Jersey was charged for first-degree aggravated manslaughter for killing an Indian American woman and seriously injuring her husband in a road accident last year.

John T. Davis, 32, a native of Washington Township was charged Thursday.

In September, Davis was driving drunk the wrong way and crashed his vehicle head on into the car driven by 60-year-old Baldev K. His wife Bhavna Patel, 59 who was also in the car, was killed by the impact of the collision while Baldev received serious back injuries, according to NewJersey.com.
