Islamabad, Feb 26 (NNN-APP) Pakistani President General Pervez Musharraf on Monday called for a comprehensive strategy and economic reconstruction for effectively dealing with the militant activities in Afghanistan.

He was talking to British foreign secretary Margaret Beckett who called on the President here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

They also discussed further enhancement of political, bilateral and economic ties.
