American Muslims Support Muslim Welfare Rally at the Indian Parliament
Washington DC, March 7 (IndianMuslims.info) Indian origin American
Muslims support the Muslim rally at the Indian Parliament being
organized in New Delhi today. Kaleem Kawaja, president of Association
of Indian Muslims (AIM) gave his organization's support to the rally
organized by Tamilnadu Muslim Munnetra Khazgam(TMMK) which seek to
uplift the Muslim community in India.
Mr. Kaleem Kawaja in a press release said that sixty year after

The AIM is a Washington DC based organization which represents about
150,000 American Muslims who are originally from India. AIM demanded
that the central and state governments implement specific and properly
funded programs to alleviate the extraordinary educational and
socioeconomic backwardness of the Muslims of India.
AIM further demanded that the XIth five year plan should incorporate
specific and adequate funding that are proportionate to the volume of
