India's World Cup exit disappoints Orissa
Bhubaneswar, March 24 (IANS) India's shameful exit from the World Cup has dejected cricket fans in Orissa, with some demanding that Team India be changed and new faces be brought in.
"I was shocked," Bhubaneswar-based lawyer Ramesh Sahani, who watched the loss to Sri Lanka, said. "It is time the players are changed. We need new faces."
He added: "Our players perform well in insignificant matches. When we want better performances, they never do."
There were major reasons of the defeat, Kishor Mania, an eminent cricket coach, told IANS.
Playing excessive one-day matches and lack of rest was one factor, he said. "Besides there is lack of discipline among our players."
