Anti-terrorism conferences to spread Islamic teachings: Arshad

New Delhi : The anti-terrorism conferences being organized in the country by Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) or other Muslim organizations are not meant to clean the image of the Muslim community or madrasas, said Maulana Arshad Madani, ex-president, JUH on 10th May.

Rather, these conferences are just to spread the Islamic teachings of peace and brotherhood and also to expose hands that are hell-bent to tarnish the image of Islam and the Muslim community, said he who has been instrumental behind these conferences after the 25th February national anti-terrorism conference organized by Darul Uloom Deoband.

The Muslim Ummah Needs to Start a War On Dowry,Ensure Women' Right:Amarat-e-Shari'iyyah

Kishanganj(Bihar) : "Dowry is society's cancer; this disease has taken lives of thousands of daughters and ruined lakhs of families", said chief Mufti of Imarat-e-Shariah,Junaid Alam Nadvi Qasmi in a conference organized in Kishanganj.According to the National Crime Report Bureau(NCRB) around 7,618 incidents of dowry deaths were reported in 2006 itself.He pointed out that " this is our vital responsibility to cleanse the society of this dangerous disease and ensure protection of the honour and dignity of women in the society".

Na'ib Mufti of Imarat-e-Shariah,Maulana Sayeedur Rahman Qasimi stressed in his speech on rights of women and further pointed out the importance Islam provides to the empoweerment of women .

Assistant Nazim of Imarat-e-Shariah Mufti Mohammad Suhrab Nadvi invited people to make education their first priority, promote unity among Ummah on the basis of Kalimah (statement of Tauheed), live as a courageous and peace-loving Ummah in all circumstances and protect Milli identity.

Expressing his views, Nazim A'la of Darul Uloom Bahadur Ganj Maulana Anwar Alam appreciated these Da'wah tours and reformative attempts of Imarat-e-Shariah
Professor of Anjuman-e-Islamiyyah Kishan Ganj Mufti Iqbal exhorted to be aware of the storm arising from the West and sharpen the talents accordingly.
