Kabul : A targeted militant leader was killed and two others were detained Monday during a U.S.-led Coalition forces operation to disrupt Taliban operations in central Afghan province of Wardak, said a Coalition statement released here on Tuesday.

Islamabad : At least five people were killed Tuesday when a suspected suicide bomber struck at the Pakistan Navy War College in the eastern city of Lahore, officials said.
The attack which occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the college's parking lot also injured at least 12 people, said Lahore police chief Malik Iqbal.
