Strike in Srinagar to protest government inaction
Submitted by kashif on Fri, 05/12/2006 - 16:11.Srinagar, May 12. Normal life here was dislocated Friday by a strike called in protest against alleged government inaction in a sex racket that has rocked the state for the past several days.
The strike, called by the Kashmir Bar Association (KBA), here saw shops and business establishments closed in Srinagar while attendance in state government offices, banks and educational institutions was thin.
